Diamonds in The RUFF 2018

On Saturday, September 29, 2018, Transformationz Inc. will be hosting its 10th annual conference focusing on at-risk teen girls in the metropolitan Detroit area titled “Diamonds In The RUFF, Helping Girls Discover Their True Worth”. The purpose of this conference is to equip these young ladies with tools needed to navigate life’s challenges by providing educational workshops and entertainment to address the challenges they face on a daily basis. This event will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Detroit Recovery Project, 1145 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit, Michigan 48208. We are expecting approximately 200 participants and lunch will be provided. We are seeking your help with this awesome effort to provide assistance and guidance to teen girls in the Detroit metro area.

As you’ve seen in the news, how our youth are often targets of senseless violence, our teen girls are plagued with unplanned pregnancies, crime, bullying and the vast majority suffer from the effects of the city’s failed educational system, (lack of social support & guidance) just to name a few.

The founder of Transformationz Inc., Mrs. Lanetia Norris, LMSW knows first hand the issues that plague Detroit’s youth through her own challenges growing up in the city. Having personally been knocked down by life’s circumstances and having the courage and ability to get back up has been her strong suit. Sharing her story with others has been her crowning achievement because it inspires her audience to believe that change is possible, if only they dare to believe. Out of this strong belief and conviction, Mrs. Norris created the “Diamonds in The RUFF” conference. This will be an afternoon devoted to celebrating and honoring these teens.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and any donations you are willing to make would be greatly appreciated. By contributing to this worthy cause, your company would be supporting our most valuable and vulnerable commodity, our children. Please help us to make a difference in the lives of our youth.

We are in need of gift bags, laptop, IPAD, Kindle Fire, Books, gift cards, book bags, paper, pens & note books, costume jewelry, positive motivational sayings on items such as key chains and magnets, food, candy and monetary donations. For monetary donations, please make your check payable to Transformationz Inc.; 18701 Grand River Ave. Suite # 231; Detroit Mi. 48223. You will be provided a receipt for all taxable donations. Also, following the workshop, you will receive a brief letter highlighting the conference outcomes.

Thank you in advance for your support! Should you have any questions and/or concerns, please contact me at: 313-896-6298.

Sincerely,Lanetia Norris
